Volume 15, Issue 87 (2026) of Amazonia Investiga brings together seven distinctly multidisciplinary articles spanning educational innovation, phytochemistry, financial law, and business management. In the field of education, this issue features three studies: the first examines teaching strategies and pedagogical management associated with competency-based curricula in secondary education in the Dominican Republic; the second evaluates the impact of a gamified intervention supported by digital tools on high school students' learning of lyric poetry; and the third proposes the use of GeoGebra to strengthen conceptual understanding of systems of linear equations by integrating algebraic and geometric representations.

Within the natural and health sciences, two articles focus on the phytochemical characterization of plant species with therapeutic potential. One investigates the leaves of Spondias mombin as a possible endodontic irrigant alternative to synthetic products, while the other examines the secondary metabolites of Tynanthus croatianus, an endemic Costa Rican plant with promising antioxidant and antimicrobial properties.

The issue is further complemented by two studies addressing socioeconomic and legal topics. One presents a qualitative analysis of how digitalization influences the competitiveness of Mexican micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), while the other examines Nigeria’s regulatory framework for cryptocurrencies in light of the new Investments and Securities Act of 2025.
